His series with detective bosch is well written. I always am eager for his next work. I recently came across Bruen, who sets his stories in Ireland and england. He has a background in metaphysics and writes about randomness and evil. Also, Mankiel, a scandanavian author, is unique in his views and plot twists. I like michael connelly, very much.
